There are many stories about the nature in Israel that can be told aspecially herp/conservation.
One story is about the Uromastix of Sini. After we started to make peace with Egypt we had to give them Sini area back & Proffesor Mendelson decided to form a colony of these Uromastix in the mountains of Eilat. This colony is stable & still growing under protection. If you want more info about it write to my address: razyho@hotmail.com

: Do you have herp/conservation story ideas that you feel lend themselves well to TV? Please send them to me. I work in Story Development for National Geographic Explorer, and I am interested in hearing/seeing any story which you feel needs a voice. Good animal/people/issue stories are welcome.
