A lack of calcium will sometimes do that to eggs, but I dont believe that determines whether they are infertile or not..ive had a few hatch that were like that.
Just give your females more calcium and it should solve the problem.
As for checking to see if they are fertile, candle them and see if there are any red veins. Freshly laid eggs will have a round circle of red veins with the embryo inside. If you look close enough you can see it moving.

:The tops of my eggs are hard like a chicken egg, and the sides and bottom are soft. They also stained the perlite a yellow color. I have been incubating them for 1 week and they are my females first clutch. Do they sound infertile??
