How do I get my leopard gecko to eat meal worms?

I just bought a juvenile leo (about 5 inches long- I'm not sure of her age) about 2 weeks ago. The breeder told me that she eats meal worms; however, she won't eat them for me. I've tried hand feeding her, but as soon as I get one in her mouth, she flings it back at me. Help!
