:I've seen and heard so many conflicting opinions on what type of substrate should be used for leopard gecko's. What does everyone here use?

Though A LOT of people seem to complain about impaction, i have been using T-Rex Calci-Sand for years and have had zero problems. I did have a gecko die from impaction when i used regular play sand, a very long time ago. Calci-Sand is good cos' it conducts a lot of heat if you use a heat mat, and it seems to keep the geckos happy. Whether its theyre natural habitat or not is not very important, being as they have never seen it, theyre many generations removed from it. Paper towels are just as good, and in some cases, why use a substrate at all? I use either sand, or no substrate in my racks.
