you should be able to tell. I saw the pic of those eggs and they sure look good as far as shape and color. You should definately see them light up pink. I cut a small hole about the size of a dime in a solo cup and put a d-cell light on the inside so light shines through the hole. Lights'em up like a laser.

:I know how to do it, but I was just wondering if since my eggs are so dirty, will I still be able to candle them?? It looks like it might be hard to see through them becuase they are covered with peat moss and are real dirty. Also, good news, my female is now huge and these eggs look like they will be huge, she is due to lay in still a week and she is already the size she was with the last clutch!!
