yep I also only use UTH for my leos with a heat lamp as a add on in the winter my house gets kinda chilly on their side and they are in a 65 gallon now. My 15 and 20 gallon leo tanks do not need the light during the winter. They like belly heat. Some people use the light over slate or ceramic tile and it absorbs it but I like the UTH. 24/7 it keeps one side of my tanks 88 to 90 on the floor where they need it. Plus warms the bottom of their hides nicely.
:I've heard that the undertank ones are best, then that the lamp-like ones work best. I want to hear from someone which one is absolutely, positively THE BEST. Do you leave it on all night or all day, I've heard both on that too. I'm soo confused ;(
