Hovabators have several good and very bad attributes.

Bad - The wafer thermostat is not the best compared to electronic or digital thermostats.

The styrofoam is ok, but if you have a large picture window hovabator that is a source of constant heat loss and instability.

It is designed for chicks, quail, ducks etc at 100 degrees, lower temps are frustrating to maintain.
