males do secrete a scent from the pores on their belly. Sounds like they are kinda ready. Mating looks very rough like they are gonna kill each other sometimes. Just watch them carefully when you put them together.
:Will a gravid female follow the sent of a male? I ask becuase I introduced my female to my male and when I did, I put her hide in with them. I had to remove her shortly after because she fought back at the males attempt to mate, but I left her hide in with the male and he did a "dance" on it while it was in there. I placed the hide back into the females cage and now she spends all of her awake time on top of it, this is my first attempt at breeding so it is all new to me.
