:I have in the last two or three months had four sets of eggs from two leo's. I was incubating them in a hovabator with a turbofan at 89 degrees and right around 70% relative humidity. Within several days, each egg has dimpled and collapsed. What am I doing wrong?
you are doing several things wrong the first and biggest one is NEVER BUY A HOVOBATOR TUBOFAN MODEL THE FAN CREATES TOO MUCH HEAT ALL YOU NEED IS THE SILL air. and second Don't incubate eggs in sand that is just asking for problems go spend 4 dollars at home depot or lowes on some vermiculite and/or perlite. This is what i use and it works great and i keep my temps between 84-86 degrees for a mix of sexes and i keep my humidity between 70 and 80%.
