She could actually lay as soon as 2 weeks give or take a day or as long as 5 weeks sometimes. Kinda depends on her if she was inseminated good and how long she had been receptive, eggs may already be forming. I use a 48 qaurt cooler with a submersible fish tank heater. Put in 3 or 4 inches of water, the heater, something for deli cups or contasiners to set on so they are out of the water. I use an old refridgerator rack that I cut down and screwed in. Set the temp of the heater and close the cooler. Use a digital indoor/outdoor thermometer with the little probe deal. You can get them at Walmart,Meijer,K-mart or such for like $9.00. Set the air temp in the cooler by adjusting the tank heater temp up or down heating or cooling the water. Set up your egg containers like at WWW.albeysreptiles.com in the how to incubate section. This set-up has worked flawlesly for me for 2 years now. I used to use styrofoam boxes but went with a nice cooler.
:My to geckos breed on May 2. I don't know how long it will take before i will beable to see the eggs and when i will be able to tell that she is really going to lay eggs. I was also wondering if you make your own incubator if it is a good idea. and if it really works.
