Is she vibrating or kind of "wagging" her tail? If she's wagging, I would expect her to attack anything infront of her. If she's vibrating the very tip of her tail and then going for your male, I'd try to get another opinion on her sex. Anytime my females haven't been in the mood and felt the need to convey this to a male, they've done a wagging type of motion and then attacked him - never vibrating.

Do you know if she gets along with other females? There is the possibility that she is a hot female in which case she shouldn't get along with any geckos and be unfriendly in general. I haven't had any experience with hot females though, so I wouldn't know if they would vibrate their tails or not. Other people may have more similar experiences and be able to help a little more.
