:Hi Im am looking to breed lizards for the first time finally.Im considering getting Im considering getting a pictus gecko group(how many can I fit in a 20 gallon long)
You can put 1.2 in a 10 gallon so a farely large colony can be kept in a 20 gallon. I would say 1.4 personally but if u want to push it I would say 1.5 or 1.6 is the most.
.Or Ill get a group of leos.wich one would be better for a first time breeder.Im considering pictus because of the price, but people say there eggs need to be incubated a special way(how do you incubate them, ina certain type of container)is this true?
They are easy to incubate. easier than leos. I just prefer to breed leos over pictus because pictus have about 4 morphs as opposed to the leos have like 10 or more.
if so I might just stick with leos.how long are pictus hatchlings?
hatchlings are about -------- that big.
Ive posted this on the leopard gecko for um too as I want to get everybodys opinioin.thanks to all who respond.
