Yes, gravid females will dig, preparing a place to lay eggs. If your geckos are over a year old, they are definelty sexualy mature. You should be able to notice the white areas (eggs) on you geckos belly. There is no need to rub her. I've found that females will be more likely to lay eggs if they are kept by themselfs. But i doubt that leaving her with the other gecko could hurt anything. I'd say you should start preparing for eggs, you should have some any day now. Best of luck, and keep us posted.
