The striped trait is also polygenetic... but seems to be recessive to most pattern types.

Basically stripe is going to be easily "overpowered" by almost any other pattern, including jungles. This doesn't mean that you cant get a stripe by a wildtype x wildtype breeding, just means that it rarely happens.
