Stopped eating

Hey,
I put my breeding pair together about a month ago and ever since then they just stopped eating. They were both VERY fat at the start and have lost a little weight but are still pretty chubby. Why would they have stopped eating? They show no interest in the food. They go up to it lick it and walk away. I have tried both, crixs and melies. Do females stop eating when they are gravid? Thanks for any help..
