Well, remember how when I first got my male, Goliath, I tested him out on my friends females? Well, they've both been laying good eggs. But the most recent clutch has us both amazed. It consisted of just one huge egg. About the size of a Cadbury candy egg. I'm not exaggerating at all. And this is two weeks after the female layed the last clutch. I wish I was able to take the weight of the egg before he put it in the incubator... I'm pretty sure came from a female that weighed less than 50 grams just before she was bred this season. So, if this egg hatches and the baby comes out healthy, might it be a new strain of giant? Or do huge eggs sometimes produce completely normal leos? What ever pops out, I hope it shows the father's genetics...
