now this might just be complete nonsense but I'd heard that mealworms were dangerous to feed to lizards because they could survive inside the lizard's stomach and then eat their way out from inside. I was told that the only way to safely feed mealies is to chop their heads off first but then they stop moving and provide absolutely no intrest to the lizard. is the whole stomach-eating-mealworm thing just a myth or is it actually something to be worried about?
