what about housing mature parents with mature offspring?

I have a mature male and female right now (they're the parents of a couple clutches of eggs I have incubating now) and I wondered if they hatched a female if I could keep her with them when she is mature and of a size with them. obviously the male would mate with her and I was wondering if that would cause defects in any offspring she would clutch. any answers anyone?
