Are you aware of any peer-reviewed journals suggesting as much? It would greatly aid my application for an exception. (I was tagged by a particularly large specimen in Kalimantan Timur on multiple occasions, and suffered absolutely no adverse effects, but this information is not exactly admissable or repeatable.
