I lived in HI a few years ago, I know for sure that snakes are an absolute no, I don't know about lizards. I do know that I had to have an import permit for my fish, and there are several things you must have to import a domestic pet, so make sure you get that ahead of time. I just checked the Hawaiian humane society page and the only lizard they have listed as banned is a Gila Monster. Whatever you do, don't try to sneak it in, they do NOT look kindly upon it and the consequences are severe.
