PRESS ASSOCIATION (London, UK) 20 March 03 Schoolgirl sues classmate for plastic snake prank
A Chinese schoolgirl is suing her classmate for more than £12,000 after he frightened her with a plastic snake.
The secondary school pupil says she suffered psychological damage because of the prank, reports the Huasheng Morning Post.
The girl, who is surnamed Zhu and lives in Huludao, claims she was so traumatised by the incident she has trouble sleeping.
She has already received £1,700 in payment from the boy and the school, reports the newspaper.
