Hi there, herpers :)
Are many of you in NY state? How are efforts to fight this bill proceeding, thus far?
IMO, a little cross-species co-operation against this bill might go a long way... more, below.
Yup, the same Sen. Marcellino who is pretty *clueless* about exotics, yet allowed himself to be exposed to risks with a tiger cub in a publicity photo shoot which a good number of responsible owners have condemned (i.e. cat above his head level).

And yet, the Sen. stated on air that he *enjoyed* the experience. Hypocrite that he would bar this from truly responsible owners...
Anyhow, I know there are a few people cat-side, etc., who have been trying to fight BSL in NY; both this bill & with a class action suit against the recently entered compulsory legislation bill (if I remember correctly).

(Deborah-Ann Milette, the author of this one is probably the
prime contact, cat-side against ongoing NY bills).

(subscribing to the list with "No Mail" would be appreciated, if possible; we're always looking to cross-foster relationships herp-side in ongoing battles for responsible ownership. I know it's difficult to keep tabs on so many different issues at once...).
Any thoughts/possible actions as to how to find $/ignorance/fear with expertise?
With best wishes,
David.
