Insurance companies should not make the decision regarding which pets we can or cannot keep. They should not be permitted to penalize dog,cat or herp owners. If there are animals which should not belong in a home that should be up to the voters of that particular state, not a private industry. Likewise, I dont think that insurance companies (homeowners) should be responsible for paying claims related to injuries caused by animals that dwell on the property.
