and you are never sure of the animals temperment. I just lost a colony of my favorite lizards because an adopted animal brought a virus with it.It never had contact with the animals nor was there contact of cross contamination. Airborn spread. I still recomend getting permit systems in place to avoid throw aways and rescue animals in the first place. But since they are out there and do need homes, goodness, be careful. In my case a good deed was very heartbreaking. Take care, Craig
