:I am breeding albino gophers, does that also require a permit (I didn’t think so just making sure)? And what if I bred my coastal rosy to a sub species from Mexico or Arizona would I still need a permit to breed them and to sell the offspring since they would be mutts? I probably wont do that, just wondering? Thanks.

::Yes you do need a permit to breed and sell cal. native snakes like rosy's, kings, and gophers. You need to get a hold of the Cal. fish and game to obtain a breeds permit.
