Thank you for your note on our decision about constrictor snakes in Bowling Green. I can only say that our Committee reviewed the available evidence both pro and con and decided to leave our animal legislation the same as it has been for a number of years. I think they made the right decision, although unpopular in some quarters.

I fail to see how it can be correct decision when it inconsistently applies logic. Every single justification used against the snakes, is not used against other more real public health threats.

At the end of the day, it reeks of being rather paranoid or in the pockets of animal extremists.
