Caiman Law

I have heard a rumor from several different places that there is now a federal law that bans the import and possibly keeping of caiman. Reason being is they have been ruled an invasive species. Is thia all bull or os there some truth to it? I can not fond documentation to validate the rumors but I could just be missing it. -Dave B.
