Hello, i find ackie monitors very interesting, problem is monitors of all sorts are illegal in MA...i would like someone to please and let me know how i can go about getting a permit so i can breed ackies and not have to worry about the law...also, i have been wondering why you dont need a permit to own iguanas, herps usually become illegal because housing them and feeding them in captivity is troublesome. iguanas are a big hassle, they eventually need big cages and require UVB lighintg. 99% of all iguana owners ive met here were not keeping their iguanas properly...they treated them as disposable pets(they were less than $15 ea)..i think serious iguana owners should get a permit to buy one, that way we could keep inexperienced people from buying them and making hem suffer...any help with he ackies would be greatly appreciated!
