The liability insurance is a major concern. I have a 501C3 reptile rescue in VA and we are without insurance because we can't get any that is affordable. Bottom line is that I can put a 16 year old on the road with her own car for cheaper than I can take a tame iguana to a library 2 weeks a year. There is something wrong with the insurance industry. Unless the state is willing to start an insurance pool that is reasonable, then I don't see how they can require special insurance for soem of these animals.
