I always use a nest box for my alterna. I use damp sphagnum moss in the box. Your female should lay about 6-10 days post shed. Hope this is helpful. Good luck.

: My female alterna is swollen with eggs! Should I prepare a nesting box for her or is her rubbermaid cage with some carefresh in it good enough for her?
