:) Sasheena, the female will ovulate again shortly after shedding. If you are wanting to double-clutch her, after her shed is the time to do so. I do not double-clutch my corns, kings, or milks unless they are older-bigger females. Of course I have corns that double-clutch without the introduction of a male.

It sounds like the male just wants to breed, normal behavior.
