Oh, Jane...if I lived near you, I'd come move them for you. :)

If it makes you feel any better, think of it this way; they're more afraid of you than you are of them. You're bigger and if you did go over to garden, they'd run.

Also, it might make them move a little faster if you sprayed some water with the garden hose. It wouldn't harm them but it would make them uncomfortable, which would gently nudge them away.
