:HI all, haven't got any kings myself yet, just began breeding corns this season. I saw the eastern indigo snake on animal planet, and thought "I must have one of those!", but they do get awfully long:-) Then I saw a picture of a mexican black kingsnake. It was a mini indigo! (by mini i certainly don't mean small;)) I'm wondering if any of you keep/breed them, and what they are like as far as temperment, compared to cornsnakes. Also, do they all have that great shimmer like the eastern indigos?

:Thanks, they may just be my next snake purchase!:)

I think they're great snakes :). Mine is pretty timid except
during feeding time. She has one of the most varacious
appetites of all my kings. I am able to pick her up to
put her back home after she's done though. Here's
a pic of Raven, my Mex.Black
