I lost a whole colony of pueblan milks to "zonata disease" a while back, proving that other species of the genus can also contract it. I've heard of remedies ranging from Neosporine(antibacterial), to Lamasil and Tenactin (antifungal) being applied regularly to the skin. Secondary complications are often quick to set in (in my own experience and talking to others) and may include mouthrot, and respiratory infection which should be treated systematically. The exact cause of the syndrome is yet undetermined but virus', bacteria, and fungi are all likely suspects. Keep a close eye on your other specimins because this can spread like wildfire in a breeding colony. Hope this helps.
