:) Compared to humans, then snakes can't see that far. And of course it varies from specie to specie and their environment and how they have adapted. For example, rattlesnakes can't see but a few feet, but have other senses that make up for that (heat sensing) and like most snakes - a great sense of smell. Then you have whipsnakes here in Arizona that can see for quite a distance and chase down lizards all day LOL But..... compared to humans, then they have poor eye sight, but make up for that with other senses, but hawks probably think that humans have poor eye sight :)
