::These snakes were both caught by my friend Scott in the same area of Katy, TX (literally 100 yds apart if even that). One is a 2001 hatch(the highly speckled one) and one is a 2002( the one with less yellow) from the looks of it. They were found about one year apart on the dot. The older one is more colorful and has been about the same coloration wise since caught in April of 2002. The younger, darker one which was caught on Friday is MUCH different, a lot less speckled, with a high contrast belly. Interesting isn't it?

:what are they? Speckled and Desert? they're nice. the one with the black on its belly looks like my Florida King's belly.
