:lol man its so cool feeding my brooks king he freeks bout when i dangle food in his feeding area, tonight i managed to spark the constricting behavior, and wow was he fast. i have to say if you like to see your snake attack its prey with some work you can get it to go after frozen prey like it was living.
:i also noticed my brooks shaking its tail like a cali king does when its afraid of attack. i didnt think any king did that but cali king. i also noticed my brooks kick puffs a hissing sound when i go to pick it up, i really think its cute my self. lol
:may i say i am very happy with my choice of snake!!
:brooks kings rule!!!!
:though i still havent decided what to name him lol.
:and if you dont feed your kind by dangling your prey infront of it may i suggest it as its really cool to see the king snake go after the prey.
i know exactly what you mean! mine is a regular Florida King and he's one of the best eaters i have. i'm thinking of naming him 'corkscrew' because he grabs a pinky or fuzzy and wraps around it like a dozen times! he's fast! i really like him. he rattles too, sometimes, but i have to laugh cause he's so cute. he only does it if i disturb him. i have a big Cal King that does it, too. Kings are great snakes.
