I dont think so . My NJ Eastern King male has been locked up with my female NJ Eastern for 6 hours !!! and still going. He is close to if not 17 years old and can still perform with the best of em. On the other end of the spectrum my big male Brooksi (pictured below a couple of weeks ago) tried to eat Mike Burns' female. I put em together and he just grabbed her by the head and started constricting. It took me 15 minutes to get em apart . She hasn't had her first shed yet so maybe she wasnt kickin' off any pheromones but my other female hasn't shed either and he just tried hooking up with her so it was a strange weird incident I guess.
