:I know this is king and milk forum but I saw a pic of a snake called a false water cobra a few days ago. I would never have any kind of venomous snake. I have never heard of false water cobras before has anyone?

:thanks,
:john

Hi John,

flase water cobras are fairly large, rear fanged, mildly venomous and can attain lengths of 9'. They are not know for having a nasty disposition, but should be treated with respect, as even the little hognose can cause some serious bites. If you don't believe me, just check out the hog forum. Garter snakes are another snake that some consider to be mildly toxic. I wouldn't consider them deadly, unless an alergic reaction were to happen, but bites can be quite serious. I hope this helps. You may ask on the venomous forum too.
