Hi John,
flase water cobras are fairly large, rear fanged, mildly venomous and can attain lengths of 9'. They are not know for having a nasty disposition, but should be treated with respect, as even the little hognose can cause some serious bites. If you don't believe me, just check out the hog forum. Garter snakes are another snake that some consider to be mildly toxic. I wouldn't consider them deadly, unless an alergic reaction were to happen, but bites can be quite serious. I hope this helps.
