Headed out to one of our staple areas with Mark and Scott...had a good day...caught some snakes. Our first find was this little guy basking in the shallows

Scott found this guy, or I guess I should say girl...

Very, very likely it is gravid...pretty heavy bodied and will strike like a rat snake, as you can see in the pic.

I saw this little guy when he moved in the weeds...A pretty little rough green! (and my first in a while that wasn't DOR)

Mark flipped this little girl...she was with her egg cases and food cache of junebugs.(sry my camera WOULD NOT focus at all)

This was the last find of the day...Mark and I flipped this pair...they started moving before I could get a good pic. Most obviously a male and a (possibly) gravid female. Female is pictured, male is busy streaking away.

Other than that we found some skinks, some leopard frogs, and thats about it other than a rotting armadillo. Temps were cooler than normal and it was a bit overcast. I found a DOR leucostoma on the way home. Andy
