Man, everyone on these forums who has posted there field herping results sure are lucky! I live in BC, on vancouver island, and want to know what sorta herps we have here???!!! A few species of garder snakes (which, none the less, are one of my fav. snakes, because of the ENOURMUS colour variations!), alligator lizards, 2 native frogs, 2 native salamanders, painted turtles (which are far and few between), and INTRODUCED (the are HORRIBLE FOR THE ENVIROMENT) bluufrogs! So next time you are grabbing that 6 foot ratsnake out from under a board, remeber how lucky u r!

PS I am going through the rockies, and into drumheller, and am hoping to find some cool salamders (tiger), gopher snakes and MAYBE a prarie rattlesnake!
