sure as hell can. I was lucky...havn't had a shot in 6 years for tetnis and the dr. said that if I would have been infected, I would have been showing symptoms by the time I got in to see him. But I got my booster yesterday...can't say it doesnt hurt because for the next day your arm feels dead, but I wanted one anyway for all the thorns, nails, and barbed wire I go through. Andy
