a while back my crested geckos died. Well, we sent them off to a vet lab (my dads a vet), and we found out what they had a whiile ago. Klebsealla (dont knnow if that is spelled right) and salmonella. This cause hepatitis (inflamed liver) blood clotting, acute (brought on VERY quickly) dehydration, pneumonia, and a few other things. well, i was sort of relieved to hear this, because i know that it was not under fault of my own, because they showed no signs of illness untia few hours before, and by then, they were too far done. All the things, not just the dehydration, were brought on very quickly (so says the lab report). well, i was sort of bummed for a while because i thought it might have been bad husbandry on my part, but no. plus, the serotype (sort of like the subspecies) of salmonella they had was the first one of its kind EVER found in Canada. I thought that was kinda cool. Just thought i would post 'cause the forums had been sorta slow.
