ended up cleaning out Ruby's entire cage. The cage had... well...the aroma we snake keepers know well lol. I endured the smell of snake crap until the whole cage was clean even though I was hungry (what can I say I'm dedicated). There was urate powder all over the bottom glass of the enclosure and feces too stuck like glue - pretty nasty. I'm going to line the cage with paper towels before I put the aspen shavings down from now on. Also I reccomend that anyone who has reptiles buy some virosan it came in very handy. Virosan is also less expensive than quat-plus or something like that and you can buy refills. You can buy virosan from proexotics.
