That's a good point...I should make it mandetory that they actually exercise and help maintain the snake in some way if they're really opposed to selling it. It's mostly my six year old. He doesn't really get to spend as much time with the snake as he'd like. My stepson is 7 and he's afraid of snakes somewhat but lives with his mom and I keep the animals in the basement...mine are all boys too.

It just seems that what started out as something for me to get a break from the kids and pour some energy into an enjoyable hobby...well, it was unexpected that my kids would jump on board. Silly me, presenting boys with snakes and not considering that one or two might take an interest! LOL

Thanks for your thoughts and ideas. I am hoping that since my female corn is nearly big enough for them to handle that she might replace some of their anxiety over saying goodbye to the other one.

This wasn't supposed to be a big deal!
