My animals tend to grab and pin or crush. I rarely feed live but when I have that is what I observed. I try to start my hatchlings on frozen/thawed and it usually works. Of course, dead prey gets sucked down without hesitation. I have had younger animals suck down live as well, wiggling all the way down.

: Can someone tell me if they really do or not?
