Yeah, this goes against everything I learned in Biology (back in the stone age). This is a cross-genus hybrid (lampropeltis x elaphe). It shouldn't produce offspring that are capable of reproducing if it produces offspring at all.....yet, I hear that people are breeding the offspring of hybrids similar to this.
