In the case of captive bred and raised animals from several generations of the same, and never housed with imports, do you think that the gut microflora and microfauna is less likely to be harmful to snakes from different ecosystems? I have been doing this for years, but I have always avoided imported animals. I wonder if I have been really lucky, or if my situation is of less risk than with field-collected animals.
