As long as you are a person who has an eye for detail, have a good understanding about indigo natural history, and can stay on top of the maintenance requirements of this species, they make outstanding "pets" in the pure sense....exceedingly tame and trustworthy. As the other post said, make sure you purchase a baby that is well started on fuzzies (and of course, start the permit process early!).
:hey every one i was wondering if an eastern indigo would be an ok snake for an intermediat keeper i have expeirience with corn snakes and a little with boas and kingsnakes but i was wondering if an eastern indigo is a good snake
