Carl,
I believe you've got a bunch of infertile eggs. Do set them up and I hope I'm wrong, but they don't look good to me (odd shapes, color, texture, wet, tacky look, etc.). I might take this opportunity to ask the other members of the forum a question. Have you ever palped, aspirated, or otherwise removed a *fertile* egg? I personally have not. In every instance where egg binding has occured, the offending egg was not fertile. Ones before it and sometimes even the ones behind it can be alive, but the troublesome egg has always been a slug. Just my observation. Comments? Good luck, Carl.
Thanks! Terry
:You can see how huge the one is...Its probably 2x the size of the others!!! It's the one that caused the problem last night...She looks like she has at least 2 more, in addition to the two I extracted this morning...I'm going to let her rest for the afternoon and see if she'll pass the others naturally..She doesn't seem to be sick or excessively stressed, but I'm trying to be careful... I gave her an injection of Baytril before manipulating her last night as a precaution... ??Comments?? Carl
